Ngl my knee-jerk reaction to him in Chapter 4 was seething annoyance bc of how uncomfy Kris and Susie were, but with Chapter 5 context? He really was just trying to hang out with Toriel and let the kids have their fun :\

I may have been too quick to judge sans deltarune. I was high strung from fighting jrpg giant head and didnt consider that he really took care of toriel and went far enough to stock the fridge. i can respect him for that and i even find it a bit aspirational

the ketchup in fridge symbolised how sans invaded kris's life, but at the same time its him living his own life and taking responsibility for his new "family". he took care of the house and toriel

Tories also didn't realize that Kris got locked out. She realistically assumed that they knew where the spare key was to get back in but since we're the soul we didn't know that. She also tries to get in contact with us but phones don't work in the dark world and Sans said he saw us with Susie so that alleviated some of her worry. While she definitely should've gone to look for us, she isn't like all I the wrong like we thought lol.
