There is a superwoman. Super girl is more well-known bc she is related to superman unlike super boy (who is still quite popular) and superwoman (most comics being Lois or a clone of sorts)

I agree with most of this, but unfortunately I have to correct you on the superman and Supergirl one. superwoman is actually a character. there's more than one character holding the name, but none of them are very well known, as they're usually specific to certain universes. Supergirl also has the girl suffix because she's younger than Clark. she's his younger cousin.
