We do this in New Zealand I’m an accredited lab tech and we test roads and do coring to compare to ndms resaults of roads. 98% of nz roads are asphalt a lot of other countries use concrete

I think the roading companies here in nz esp up north are purposely doing shitty jobs for a cash grab and continued work. A sun shower these days cause major issues and craters in already “fixed” roads

Meanwhile, every manhole in my city is a mountain or a valley. People swerve around them. They can’t set them at the right elevation so they slope the road several inches up or down from on offset of about a foot
