when u finish welding grab the end with your fingers break it off nice clean end get back too welding... pretty soon its just a habit. taking lineman pliers too every rod be a time consuming process and be breaking the flux off alot causing more issues with sticking.

You can also scrape your rod against the ground and it’ll fix that problem too

also when your about to stop a weld do a small flick ,it will make restarting used rod easier

Sometime it's do to your rod got humidity... solution is put the rods in your oven for a few minutes

I just break off the debris with a pinch and twist. youll feel it break off. Just make sure you got gloves on hahaha
