DEEP FRIED Sandwich 😱 Crispy, crunchy, golden on the outside and soft creamy inside. Ingredients 1 loaf Japanese milk bread or soft white bread 2 packs Nestle all purpose cream 250g (cold) 4 tbsp Powdered sugar (or more to achieve desired sweetness) 2 tsp Vanilla extract Neutral oil for deepfrying Optional for garnish: 1/2 cup Ube halaya or jam Fresh strawberries, cleaned and halved Procedure: 1. Heat your oil to 350° F. Deep fry the milk bread slices until they are completely golden brown and crispy on both sides. Drain them thoroughly on a cooking rack to remove any excess oil. Set aside. 2. Whip your cold nestle all purpose cream until soft peak, , add powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until it holds stiff peaks. 3. While the bread is warm but safe to handle, slice each piece in half diagonally. Use a small, sharp knife to gently cut a pocket into the exposed crumb of each triangle, creating a hollow center for the filling. 4. Spoon the thick cream directly into the hollowed-out fried bread pockets. Optionally, press strawberry slices into the cream or spread ube halaya on top.
