I just finished watching *Ikenga: The Last Festival, and honestly, Nollywood has entered another level with this one. This is not just a movie , this is an experience. A powerful story filled with tradition, betrayal, pride, family, power, and the kind of suspense that keeps your eyes glued to the screen from beginning to end. I can boldly say this is one of the BEST Nollywood movies released in the last 10 years. Everything about it felt intentional — from the casting to the cinematography, the costumes, the emotions, and the unforgettable performances. Pete Edochie? Legendary. Every scene he appeared in carried weight, authority, and wisdom. The man doesn’t act… he becomes the character. Mama G? Absolutely phenomenal. She brought emotion, strength, and that commanding presence only she can deliver. Zubby Michael? This man is built for roles like this. The intensity, the energy, the delivery , pure excellence. He owned every moment he appeared on screen. And let’s talk about the atmosphere… The festival scenes felt real. The tension between families and traditions was intense. Every character looked like they belonged in that world. The storytelling had depth, culture, and authenticity. You could feel the emotions through the screen. Nollywood is evolving, and Ikenga: The Last Festival is proof that we can create world-class stories rooted in African culture and still keep audiences completely entertained. If you haven’t watched this movie yet, don’t waste another minute. Go and watch it NOW. Trust me, you will not regret it. Massive respect to the producers, directors, cast, and crew for creating something this powerful. Now tell me 👀 How many faces can you identify on this poster? #Lifestyle #throwback #entertainment #lesson
