the husband and wife are both that unaware, that they believe food will spoil because it's out of the fridge for 2 hours in a modern American upscale home with Central Air? when I got my new refrigerator, I put whatever food was left in the freezer and any defrosted meats and the milk in clean trash bags inside a sleeping bag. notified they were coming within the hour. unplugged the refrigerator and taped the doors. the guys were in and out in less than 40 minutes. no need for any drama

When I had my refrigerator delivered 6months ago I moved the red out the kitchen and plugged it up in the living the night before delivery. When the delivery people pulled up I started unloading the old refrigerator on the dining room table.

No the delivery drivers are the worst. Home Depot appliance delivery is the worst. I’m a builder and have bought appliances for over a 30 houses. They give you a projected delivery date IF they even stick to that. Sometimes they don’t ship because they were missing one item and don’t update you till like day before. Then if they do deliver on time, they give you a 4 hour window but then call you only 30 mins ahead expecting you to just wait around. They are a 3rd party that HD contracts. They are terrible w/ no customer service.!
