You need to go to Bowness Park. Ride the train, paddle boat, grab a bite to eat at the restaurant and go for a hike along the Douglas fir trees.

time to see carburn park! it's small relatively so walking is best. if you have a dog you need to see Sue Higgins too bc it's massive and all offleash dog park. multiple access points to the river too

Fellow nurse here! 🙋🏽♀️I work at Rockyview and it is a nice hospital but parking is AWFUL. You have to park at a dirt parking lot in front of Heritage Park and then take a school bus shuttle to the hospital (you pay for this by the way), you can get put on a waitlist for on site parking but the waitlist is 5+ years. So if you do work there, just be aware what you are getting into for parking, but I will say Rockyview and South Health Campus are probably your best two options. I've worked in 3 of the hospitals in the city so feel free to send me a message if you have questions 🤗

I used to live in the old military quarters that used to be there. I walked and biked around that reservoir a lot. Fantastic trails.
