Power is Denji’s platonic soulmate, I believe they made each other more human. Reze and Makima were manipulating him for their own benefit, but Power genuinely cared and even if she was a coward at times, she stepped up when it mattered.

Makima HELL NO and Power is basically a Sibling. It’s Reze. If you think she manipulated him to the end then you completely misunderstood the movie ending. She genuinely fell in love with him and wanted to return to him, she was ready to abandon her mission for him.
