@venus_gabby: Weak glutes are often not a glute problem. If you spend 8–12 hours per day sitting, your hips remain in flexion for most of the day. To keep your trunk upright, the glutes frequently maintain a low-level contraction, even at rest. Over time, the pelvis can become organised around a posteriorly rotated and externally rotated position. The result? • Glutes that feel “inactive” despite constant tension • Lower back muscles working overtime • Chronic stiffness through the lumbar spine • Difficulty generating effective hip extension Many people respond by adding more glute exercises. But if the pelvis cannot move freely, strengthening a muscle that is already trapped in a shortened position is often a low-efficiency strategy. The first priority is restoring space at the bottom of the pelvis. When pelvic position improves: → The hips regain access to flexion and extension → The glutes can lengthen and shorten more effectively → Excessive lower back tension begins to reduce Most people try to solve local symptoms with local exercises. BAT takes the opposite approach. Instead of chasing weak glutes, tight hips, or lower back pain individually, we rebuild the entire structural system from the ground up. The 28-Day Full Body Alignment Protocol is designed to restore the relationships between the feet, pelvis, ribcage, and spine so your body can move, breathe, and produce force more efficiently. Before adding another glute workout, ask a different question: Is your pelvis positioned well enough for your glutes to work in the first place? Start with these two movements, then rebuild the foundation. Comment “ALIGN” and we’ll send you the details of the 28-Day Full Body Alignment Protocol.
