You don't know what you're even saying. HTML gaining a few declarative commands doesn't mean it replaces a programming language. Command attributes can trigger predefined browser actions—they don't let you write application logic. They can't use variables or perform calculations. They can't create loops (for, while) or conditional logic (if, switch). They can't fetch data from APIs. They can't process JSON. They can't manipulate thousands of DOM elements dynamically. They can't use async/await or Promises. They can't open WebSockets for real-time communication. They can't access most browser APIs like IndexedDB, Canvas, WebGL, Web Workers, or Web Crypto. They can't build complex applications like Gmail, YouTube, Discord, or Figma. Command attributes reduce the amount of JavaScript needed for simple interactions. They don't replace JavaScript, they replace a few lines of JavaScript in specific cases. That's a huge difference.
