This is so true for me. I stopped doing my art a few years ago, sacrificed it to more practical tasks I felt were more important. About a year ago I realized the hole in my life was my art. you don't even have to be creative. you can just make something that is fun to make. i really enjoyed melting my oil pastels above a candle and smearing theme around the page with a little spatula.
