I love DeepSeek. I’ve been using it for 18 months now. It’s brilliant. I’ve vibe coded with it. Use it for building HTML files and SVGs. Once it gets better with lead gen search and memory it will be my first probably ahead of Claude.

what they do is AI distillation which is bad, they have large accounts registered on frontier models and they ask them complex questions whose response they use in training their models. it takes a lot of work and resources to train AI.

deepseek is so impressive I use it for my openclaw sitting on my vps and it always picks up bugs from my repo that codex didnt. even v4-flash is very good.
