@gfuug47h: Artemis astronauts just reported seeing flashes on the far side of the Moon…and they described it live to NASA. Those flashes are meteor impacts…happening in real time. The Moon’s surface is covered in craters because it has no atmosphere, no oceans, and no plate tectonics to erase its history. Every impact stays. Earth gets hit too…but most of it burns up in our atmosphere or disappears over time.
