@smashibusinessofficial: His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, the UAE's Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, revealed that he once earned a salary of $10,000 before beginning his journey in government.   Speaking with Nikhil Kamath, the world's first AI minister reflected on how his mother's advice led him to move to Dubai, where he eventually joined the office of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.   Today, Al Olama is spearheading the UAE's artificial intelligence ambitions, leading initiatives spanning national AI policy, digital transformation and the Dubai Loop, a high speed underground transport project being developed with Elon Musk's The Boring Company.
