I am just finishing my bachelor's degree, I am majoring in Japanese. I went to Japan for 2 months last summer and the cultural shock I experienced was nothing short of terrifying. We have it so much worse in Romania on so many fronts, but I never actually internalized that because I live here and obviously this is what I am used to. So knowing what I know now, I feel like all of us deserve so much more. So. Much. More.
