The difference is, you clearly know it’s weird and absurd in berserk, in mushoku no tensei all the weird shit is presented as if it’s normal. It’s clearly self inserted in mushoku and doesn’t immerse you in the story like berserk does

Well it's really simple for two main reasons. 1 - Berserk fnas mostly did not even read the whole Mang 2 - Hating on Mushoku Tensie is more of a trend and something popular just because Rudeus is a bad person, ignoring the whole story, the world, the lore, the side charachters, like I love Mushoku Tensie and I hate Rudeus you dont have to like him or accept him to enjoy MT.
