You can get there by car, train, or bus from Cannes, Antibes, or Nice. Once you’re there, you’ll find three famous perfume houses offering fragrance-making workshops: Fragonard, Molinard, and Galimard. ✨ Fragonard is the most popular and tourist-oriented. ✨ Molinard offers a more intimate, boutique-style experience. ✨ Galimard, which is the one I chose, offers what I believe is the most complete experience and the best value for money. Workshop prices generally start around €30–€40 and can exceed €100 depending on the experience and the size of the perfume bottle you create. At the end, you leave with your own custom fragrance, and at Galimard, you also receive a Perfumer Diploma featuring the formula number of your creation. My recommendation: book your workshop in advance, especially during spring and summer, as the most popular time slots can fill up quickly. And don’t rush back afterward. Spend some time exploring Grasse’s historic center, visit the perfume museum, and enjoy lunch in one of the local restaurants overlooking the hills of Provence.
