@tythehistorian: This week, I got to spend time with the Campbell-Wright HBCU Interns. Each summer, these students travel throughout the Gullah Geechee corridor (southeastern NC to Northeastern FL) to learn about Gullah history, customs, and culture. I’m always happy to host demboi in NC! We took to WilmingtoNcolor Black history tour and visited the Cameron Arts museum which featured the ‘Boundless’ exhibit honoring Wilmington’s colored troops, artwork by Gullah artists Jonathan Green, and Minnie Evans. 💙🌊 #publichistory #gullahgeechee #ncgullah
