@aroobaa.aly: Let’s make easy chicken biryani using @Shan Foods spices Ingredients * 1 whole chicken * 2 tbsp yogurt * 2 tbsp Shan Bombay Biryani Masala (or to taste) * 1 tbsp tandoori masala (or to taste) * Juice of 1 lemon * 2.5 cups basmati rice * 2 large onions, thinly sliced * 2 to 3 tomatoes, chopped * Fresh coriander and mint * Salt * Food color red or yellow **Marination** 1. Mix chicken with: •Shan Bombay Biryani Masala •Tandoori masala/ I also added red food color •Yogurt •Lemon juice • Marinate for at least 30 minutes (longer is better). **Prepare the Masala** 1. Heat oil and fry onions until golden brown. 2. Remove half the onions for garnishing. 3.Add the marinated chicken and cook on medium heat. Add ginger and garlic paste and chopped tomatoes. **Cook the Rice** 1. Boil rice in salted water until about 95% cooked. 2. Drain the rice. **Layering** 1. Spread the chicken masala in a large pot. 2. Add a layer of rice. 3. Top with fried onions, coriander, mint, and food color/saffron if using. 4.
