We are retired and a little over
1.5 M in 401K and historically we been getting over 7% but let's go by the 4 % rule plus our SS we get about 124,800 per year and that is OK since the 1.5M its been growing very conservatively. We still have the ranch and that will go for at least 1.3M and since we live in California that will takes us just below the poverty line but we will be out of here out of the country because it will just get worse.

And doing the Mandatory Annual Withdrawal is taxed at 25%. Retired and still taxed on 401k, social security, dividends. I have to pay estimated taxes 4 times a year. This sucks. And GenZs think Boomers are rolling in dough?
