@victor_awowo: That video of the young boy who came to his pastor in tears because he felt he had lost something in his walk with the Holy Spirit deeply challenged me. Then I asked myself: What have I lost, yet I’ve become comfortable without? Some of us have lost our prayer life. We have lost our hunger for God’s presence. We have lost our passion for His Word. We have lost our fasting life. We have lost our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Yet we smile, carry on with life, and act as though nothing is missing. The greatest tragedy is not losing these things. The greatest tragedy is becoming comfortable without them. Today, God is calling us back. Back to the secret place. Back to the prayer altar. Back to intimacy with Him. If you’ve drifted, don’t stay there. Please, let’s go back. His presence is worth more than anything this world can offer.
