Sassy Grilled Cheese :
I’m losing my mind. Are we transitioning to these ridiculously heavy plasma screens now 😭😭😭 in 10 years, people will somehow find nostalgia for LED 1080p TV’s

you can't play Duck Hunt on a plasma TV, so, CRTs are better.

Get both, its amazing, crt for 1980s and 1990s games, plasma for 2000s and 2010s games, you simply can‘t go wrong

Deepfriedhuman :
It’s not nostalgia making people play smash bros on a CRT. The reason people use a CRT is because of the low latency and the way the image is projected, making the pixel graphics look better.

Absolutely not, plasmas age like milk. If you're going to have a display that will burn and look like shit in the near future, you may as well at least get an OLED so it's nice at the beginning lmfao

CRT's are in terms of display quality are objectively the better way to excite the phosphor, no fixed pixel grid and way better MPRT than plasma, though, plasma is still a good technology and way more accessible
