That's the way I played it in the beginning (aside of playing Rising first and then V. both of them. We don't talk about that. I did love both of the games either way being my favourite games of all time and I did replay the story missions again in V on my main save file after playing Peace Walker and I did replay Rising after 4) and I don't hate the order but release order is definitely better.

I put off MG and MG2 for so long because I figured they were heavily dated, was pleasantly surprised to find out they're both pretty much MGS but 2D gameplay wise

i played them at the time i got them xd started with Rising, then 3,then the msx 1&2, then gz and V, then PW and finally solid 1&2 xnndks then i played them chronologically again some time later xjxskks
