@macy.blackwell: Patriotic Poke Cake!🍰🍓🫐 Such a classic! I shared this probably 5 years ago, but the oldies truly are goodies! I forgot just how delicious this is!! Ingredients: 1 box white cake mix (+ box ingredients) 3 oz box blue berry jello 3 oz box strawberry jello 8 oz cream cheese 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream 2 cups powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1. Bake white cake according to box directions. Poke holes 1/2 inch apart using a straw. 2. Prep blue and red jello by mixing them each into 1 cup boiling water separately. 3. Pour into cake holes and chill in fridge for 3 hours. 4. Best together cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla to make the frosting. Gently spread over cake evenly. 5. Look delicious!!! 🇺🇸 Another idea for people who don’t want to use jello: save some cake batter, add red to some, blue to other. After pouring the plain white cake batter in, you add the other 2 colored batters & swirl it into the white. You get a really cool effect. Finish off with icing & toppings.
