Ingredients * 1 cup milk (200 ml) * ½ cup water (100 ml) * ½ cup vegetable oil (100 ml) * 1 tbsp instant yeast (6 g) * 1 tbsp sugar (10 g) * 1 tsp salt (8 g) * 5 cups all-purpose flour (500 g) For the Filling * 200 g white cheese (such as feta) * Fresh parsley, finely chopped * 1 egg white (reserve the yolk for brushing) You can also use any filling of your choice. For the Topping * 1 egg yolk * Grated mozzarella Instructions In a large bowl, combine the warm milk, warm water, sugar, and yeast. Add the remaining dough ingredients and knead until you have a soft, smooth dough that is no longer sticky. Cover and let it rise for 30 minutes To prepare the filling, mix the white cheese, finely chopped parsley, and the egg white until well combined. Once the dough has risen, gently deflate it and roll it out with a little flour into a rectangle about the size of your baking tray. Transfer it onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and let it rest for another 20 minutes for the second rise. After the second rise, use an ice cube tray to create the pattern shown in the video. Fill the indentations with the cheese mixture, brush the dough with the reserved egg yolk, and sprinkle grated cheese over the top. Bake in a preheated 190°C (375°F) oven until golden brown and the cheese is nicely melted. Enjoy! 🤗❤️
