Like I always say, the fossil record is such a small sample of animals that have lived, and the ones we have found and cataloged are even less.

One quick hypothesis: Is it possible that since we see evidence of male Neanderthals moving about. Is it possible that they would leave their tribes and search for families, kind of like elephants, and would settle down and interbreed with sapiens?

I mean, that is the point of science, but many people have issues with it. 2) I’m sorry, but I’m not sure what “high coverage “ means in reference to genomic information. I assume it means that the results are better in some way, but not sure what that way is.
