My 5th great grandfather fought alongside Washington. Helped him cross the Delaware and from what I gathered from his war journal they were the best of friends. You couldn’t separate them. Just friends fighting for what they believed in. His name was Henry Knox. He was a general and an artillery commander if what his journal states is correct. He also loved books selling them too I think
