From her outfit it looks as though she works for the adventures guild! The outfit replicates the design of Katheryn. I think she is also a maid who works on the train that we have previously seen in the teaser! but I agree she looks a little underwhelming compared to the other characters shown 💔

This is exactly what I mean when I tell people to interrogate their reasonings for certain design conventions. No singular opinion is morally superior, and nor is it particularly more legitimate. Yes, we can discuss the female fan service issue but the truly feminist and progressive thing to do on a CASE BY CASE basis(because yes, some characters are allowed to show skin without it infringing on their character) is to afford the design an interaction with nuance. That doesn’t mean like every design, it means think about why the design is the way it is, and determine how that effects your perception of the character.

I think she’s cute BUT I really wish they had given her a more unique skirt. Maybe something like Ellen Joe or Rina from ZZZ, who have maid designs too, instead of the front being cut short since so many other recent characters have that aswell💔

I really like this part of the lower half (idk what these are called) but the front just looks bland and looks like it’s missing something, I think genshin is just really bad when it comes to designing women characters past the waist 😭

I agree that her skirt looks incomplete. It’s not about the skin; it’s quite literally just a design that feels rushed and I’m not getting a story as much from her design. I agree that the scarf and top look interesting and her coloring. But then it zooms out and you’re just stuck wondering why.

Thank you for pointing out people leaving out why they don't like the skin showing. They're in the coldest region where the land is literally freezing over, how are they not feeling cold should be the argument, not that the character wants to show off skin. We don't know much about the characters backstory/where they work/what their outfit is for in the first place to just be saying "oh no exposed shoulders this design sucks". No matter what they could have looked like covered or otherwise people will still have a problem with their outfits
