it shouldn't mould. if you look after gauche and watercolour correctly it won't mould.

I’ve had this this Miya gouache paint that i bought off of tiktok shop for about 2 years now, still thriving with no mold whatsoever except for mini crystallization 💔

tap water gives a high chance of forming molds, thats why you only use distilled water

The only gouache that didn’t mold for me was the Holbein brand. Though it can be more pricey. But very worth it.

when are we gonna start buying tubes of gouache and mixing paint again, i miss more traditional and less consumeristic mediums. and would love to see people mixing paint again.
