people who don’t like reiner clealry don’t understand his character. Mfs had and developed a split personality. His warrior side and his scouts side. He was in between both worlds and didn’t know what to do. He also developed SEVERE depression and just didn’t wanna fight anymore. It wasn’t till the end where he found his place with the scouts and realized who he really is, which is why towards the end he gave it is all. He’s a beautifuly written character that goes much deeper when you pay attention to his story. I love reiner so much

He was stuck between the people he had an obligation towards (Marley) and people he came to genuinely care about (Scouts). He can’t fight at full strength subconsciously, and there’s an added strength at the final battle since he finally cared for the cause; to protect the world in a way he actually believes. And ppl still call him weak 😢

I still don’t understand how the literal “armour” Titan is treated like fodder ever since he appeared, like it genuinely imo has the best character design but it’s actually useless because it’s armour gets treated like genuine fodder and it’s not even better then crystalisation or whatever it’s called
