@livingwellwithdrmichelle: A 14-year-old came in after he fainted and hit his front teeth. Mom was worried the teeth would die. The teeth had stabilized and looked fine. But the real question was why he fainted. A healthy airway is around 25 cubic centimeters. His was seven. He tosses and turns all night and falls asleep in class. At 14 we can still help. We are expanding his palate to bring his jaw forward and open room to breathe. Save and share this with a parent whose kid snores or struggles to focus. #airwayhealth #conebeam #kidshealth #mouthbreathing #sleephealth #dentaltips #drmichelle
I had borderline fatal sleep apnea and I snored horribly as a kid. I would wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air and not able to get any. I got my tonsils removed and haven’t had a single problem since.

my son was 7 when he had his tonsils and adenoids removed. almost 20 years later I find out I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and I think he has it too. I also have OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) and I used to fall asleep in meetings. I wish I'd known about this years ago! I could have expanded my pallet, probably avoiding a lot of medical issues I've had since then

Quarantine. Low dose H2S paralyzes muscles in throat. Even eyelids and olfactory. Bet he chokes on toothpaste now. Check out late Dr Kaye Kilburn of USC.
