So if self-esteem is low, there’s a possibility that I will pick someone probably unconsciously to match my self-esteem and then live in frustration trying to bring them up to where my true self-esteem is. And if I don’t check myself, I will make them the villain when all along they were only acting in their capacity, and I thought in my ego that I can bring them up to where I need them to be.
