An option is to stay in sf and just BART to the Coliseum. You don’t necessarily need to stay in Oakland, the BART stop gets you right at the coliseum

Been living in the Bay Area my whole life so my biggest recommendation is DO NOT stay in Oakland!! Try to stay at neighboring cities like Hayward (around 15 mins away from the arena), Union city (around 20 mins away from arena), Fremont (around 25 mins away from arena). The cities that I mentioned also all have Bart train stations which have a connection to the Bart station that’s steps from the Oakland Coliseum

Berkeley and just Bart to the stadium, get off on Oakland coliseum and it will drop you off exactly there you would just have to cross a bridge that is connected to the station to enter the stadium

just find anywhere near a bart station. bart would be the best way to get to the venue to avoid traffic. if you're scared to be alone, don't be there was will be tons of people taking the bart

I live in Oakland and I’ve been to a lot of kpop concerts at the Coliseum and Oakland Arena! Honestly, I would probably stay in a hotel in downtown Oakland or nearby the arena and take an uber right outside of the Bart Station. There’s a tunnel that leads right from the Coliseum into the Coliseum Bart, and u can stand in the station without going inside the platform. There’s going to be people going home from the concert, so you’ll be safe!!

as a lifelong bay area resident, you will be fine! travel in a group, and if you dont have a group, try to stay within a gathering of people/crowd. for concerts at the coliseum bart is your best bet since it is the other most popular mode of transportation besides car, and not enough people are mentioning the fact that oakland coliseum is literally next to BART. i would recommend stay at a hotel within short walking distance of a bart station instead of just near the oakland airport tho, doesnt even have to be in oakland fr

Not Oakland. Alameda is good or Berkeley. Seriously, no Oakland or emrryville or San Leandro no matter how nice the hotel.

you can stay in Berkeley or Emeryville. closer than SFO and just Uber it to and from the concert. I wouldn't BART it after the concert. 😬

If you want to be safe, I'd stay in Alameda. It's right next to Oakland and close to the Coliseum, but it's generally quieter, more residential, and has lower crime than the areas immediately around the Coliseum.

Fremont is good and close to all the Asian food and the Bart is safe for the most part lol I think it’ll be fine for concert day. There will be lots of ppl taking Bart to the concert . I’ll be coming from Walnut Creek which is like 39 min train and Walnut Creek is very very nice and safe . Fremont Bart is 27 min from coliseum but idk if there’s a lot of hotels near Bart?
