I also think defining lesbianism as “non-man attracted to non-men” is weirdly gatekeepy. I think both non-men and AFAB are included. Not including AFAB is weird.

I think where the struggle is, just as another lesbian, is the difficulty in recognizing where the line is drawn in the sand. I’m not saying that’s my personal experience or should it allow for any prejudice - but I’ve noticed a lot of people that haven’t fully accepted their personal identity tend to need strong boundaries for labels like when we were back in hs.

uh i love your posts and i love commenting so im sorry im stalking haha.. But idk i think lesbians are just anyone who chooses to identity as a woman and then loves another person who identifies as a woman i dont think it’s that difficult.. If a guy then identifies as a woman cool.. your a lesbian and yeah idk

Also when they say transmascs can be men but trans men can’t they look silly because trans men are transmasc. Also, in my experience the vast majority of trans men lesbians just prefer the term as an explanation of their experience of gender. Also no one says this about trans women who identify as and date gay men.

idk if I should identify as a lesbian now cuz I would never date a man, so should there be a micro lable for being a non man loving non men (not including trans men) /gen
