Even after marriage, their hearts often remain connected to both their husband's family and their own. They tend to stay involved, check on their parents, support siblings, and maintain strong family ties. He also expressed disappointment that a man in his 50s would question him in a way that seemed to diminish the value of female children, as though they automatically become another man's property once they get married and are therefore less deserving of investment and opportunities than male children. His response was that a daughter's heart often remains deeply attached to her father, her parents, and her home, whether she is married or not. In his view, daughters are more likely to maintain strong emotional bonds with their families and continue looking out for them. He argued that many male children, once they find love, marry, and begin building their own families, can sometimes become less connected to their parents and siblings. He believes that, in some cases, their attention and priorities naturally shift, making them less involved in the affairs of their family of origin. For these reasons, he maintains that daughters often provide greater assurance of remembering home, staying connected, and contributing to the wellbeing of their families. Of course, there are exceptions. Not all daughters are supportive, and not all sons become distant. Good character, values, and upbringing matter far more than gender.
