We replaced the locks, fire extinguishers, water heater, furnace (it died when we did final walk through so luckily not at our expense), A/C unit, kitchen appliances, radon mitigation system, and all smoke detectors. When I say we saved before we bought, we saved.

Heavy on the water valve 😩 i had a leak when i moved in and it took forever to find the water valve, it was in my neighbors locked storage 😬

the previous owners paid for cleaners before we moved in, which was a nice gesture, but I can't tell you what they actually cleaned. I think they sprayed the rooms with cleaner and walked out

On The FIRST day I got my keys after I signed the mortgage I called that locksmith to change it all 😂
