@ernest: She just filed for a new trademark WITHOUT a period on May 24th, 2026. The previous registered mark is not simply the words “DEEP BLUE" The existing registration is for: DEEP BLUE. (<- with a period) A stylized logo, with no standard-character claim in Class 25 for clothing. The USPTO record expressly identifies it as drawing code (5), stylized mark, and says the mark consists of the stylized words “DEEP BLUE.” The May 24th application removes the period; claims DEEP BLUE in standard characters; expressly claims protection without limitation to font, style, size, or color; remains pending and unexamined. The pending standard-character application does not retroactively convert a stylized registration into a standard-character registration. There was also no public confusion with the brand until AFTER she created it.
