This is something I never really thought about for most of my kitesurfing career. It was only about two years ago that I decided to pay close attention to where my safety line is connected, especially when riding at spots where the wind can suddenly drop or change direction. It made a huge difference in how much time and energy I spent getting back to shore. I hope this episode taught you something new and clearly explained the main reason behind it, as well as how to choose the correct safety line connection for the kitesurfing spot where you’re riding.

you mean it doesn't matter which side your safety line is connected to for the flag-out to work proberly? i never thought about it, i jus assumed it's somehow important
