@tobi.eulerrolle: One of my favourite nature escapes near Vienna when it gets too hot in the city. Helenental is around 40 minutes from Vienna and the spot around Urtelstein is perfect if you want cold river water, rocks to sit on and a bit of shade between the trees. 🚂 How to get there: Take the Badner Bahn to Baden Josefsplatz. From there, walk around 20 minutes along Helenenstraße until Holzrechenplatz, then follow the Schwechat into the valley. You can also combine it with a short hike through the Wienerwald.
