The Many-Worlds Interpretation is essentially an intellectual shell game. By treating the math as absolute, physicists trade a localized, messy mystery, which is how quantum probabilities collapse into our singular reality, for an untestable explosion of infinite universes. Calling this framework "simple" is a convenient cop-out. It doesn't solve the hard questions about our physical experience; it just sweeps them under an infinitely large rug. Ultimately, MWI allows theorists to protect the elegance of their favorite equation by hiding the messy, inconvenient business of explaining the actual universe we live in.

But why is the superposition always the same. If I put a red apple in a box, if I can check several times over a period of days and it still follows all laws. I never “catch it” in a different way. It’s not suddenly purple etc?

The most elegant way I've heard this interpretation described is that when you observe a particle that exists in superposition, the superposition isn't actually collapsing - one state does not disappear while the other becomes solid. Rather, quantum entanglement spreads from the interaction in a giant chain reaction that entangles you, the observer (and entire observable universe by definition), with the particle. The particle is still in superposition (spin-up state and spin-down state) and your brain is still in superposition (brain-observing-spin-up state and brain-observing-spin-down state) but the states have become correlated (spin-up state correlated with brain-observing-spin-up, spin-down correlated with brain-observing-spin-down).

Something Deeply Hidden by Sean Carroll. Try the audio if it’s easier to listen and think it through. Highly recommend chapter 8. It’s the most imaginable way to think of it in regular sort of terms I’ve found.

I'd have a lot more respect for Schrodinger's theory, had he used an example that didn't involve cruelty. the cruelty hides the absolute awe of the observation, which is part of the intention/observation process. scientists, I don't think, havent really designed an experiment that shows both sides, and the rim, of this coin. supreme reality is always multifaceted, and likely paradoxical if you truly see the whole picture,that's possible from your position, in time and space. there's always a piece you can't see from this position. when this happens your job is to not be married to the outcome, and be open to change your perspective, so that when time and space moves to give you additional information you use it to see a bigger picture.
