to be more effective when on stove and it start to boil in the pot, take it to the sink, turn on ur hot water and rinse out the water. ul see more dirty cloudy rice and after 4 rinse depending on the amount of rice, it will become smooth clear rice clear water. put it back stove salt oil and cover. ul have beautiful healthy rice. that how I was thought in the village
