@pagesbyher28: “ I told you we need those exam papers!” The guy way taller and muscular than Jake shouts slamming his hands beside Jake’s head on the wall, Jake flinches. “ I..I can’t.” Jake mumbles as he pushes into the guy’s chest and breaks into a run. He runs as fast as he can, the only thing he can hear is his heart beating loudly in his chest. Finally he comes across an empty classroom, he opens the door, but he sees a guy fast asleep head on the table. He doesn’t think twice, the guy who’s fast asleep visibly looks more muscular than him so he stands beside him. The guy and his friends come rushing into the classroom. “ Isn’t that Lee Heesung?” one of them whispers. Heesung wakes up by the sound of their footsteps. He takes a look at Jake; face pale, looking down at the ground. “ What do you want?” Heesung says to the guys, rubbing his eyes. The guys bury holes in Jake with their stare, but they don’t say anything and silently leave the class. Heesung turns around, checking Jake head to toe, “Why are you here?” He asks. Jake finally looks up, hands fidgeting with the hem of his shirt, “ no-nothing.” Jake murmurs as he rushes out of the class. As Jake leaves the class he is deep in thought ‘who is Lee Heesung, I’ve heard his name.’ He thinks with himself. He keeps repeating the name as if it’s some clue. “ Lee Heesung. Wait, isn’t Lee Heesung who fought with a guy who was bothering a girl?” He whispers to no one in particular. Heesung enters his class hood up, he takes his seat, but his mind is elsewhere. “ That guy must be in serious trouble, he looked so scared.” The next day as the bad guy approaches Jake, he looks around helplessly, no one is in the hallway so he does the only thing he can; going back to the same classroom with the hopes of Heesung sleeping there. He takes big strides towards the classroom, but as he takes two steps he sees Lee Heesung coming his way. Heesung stands in front of him, “ Again in trouble?” He asks lazily. Jake looks back and nods, biting at his lower lip. As the guys approach them, Heesung stands in front of Jake shielding him with his own body. “Don’t come near him again.” Heesung tells them with an authoritative voice. Jake takes a peak from Heesung’s back, the guys are still there. “ Didn't you hear what I said!” Heesung shouts. They turn around annoyed, “ We aren’t done here, Jake.” One of them calls back. “ Yeah, yeah.” Heesung lazily utters. At lunch time Heesung drugs Jake into the same table as himself, mumbling something about being alone. “ I am Heesung, what’s your name?” Heesung questions between fits of food. “ I am Jake.” Jake for some odd reasons can’t make eye contact with Heesung, and it bothers him. “ Do they bother you a lot?” Heesung asks. “ It’s been about two months.” Jake is ashamed as he says this, he thinks Heesung must think of him as some kind of weak, fragile boy. Heesung doesn’t say anything, he keeps on eating his food. “ If you are helping me out of pity don’t do it.” Jake says, voice full of sadness. “ I am doing this because I want to have someone in school, I don't have anyone.” Heesung casually says in response. So Jake starts to seek help in Heesung whenever he is in trouble and in return he sits with Heesung at lunch time. He isn’t bothered by this, but Heesung thinks Jake sits with him because he is forced to. One day at lunch time Heesung takes out his math textbooks,” Can you solve this math problem?” Jake takes a look at it and to him it’s the easiest math question he has ever seen. “ Are you sure this is the question you’re struggling with?” Jake asks, with judgy eyes. Heesung laughs looking at Jake’s expression, “don’t insult me!” Jake chuckles, “ okey, okey. Let me explain.” He starts to explain the question patiently, repeating things Heesung struggles with twice. “ You're way better at this than the actual teacher.” Heesung praises, Jake looks away and softly smiles at the rare compliment— +continuous in the comments (Enjoy reading💌💞)
