My only friend that I had, she stopped showing up for me the way I needed during the darkest time of my life. It was confusing and scary that I had put so much trust in someone just for them to let me down. That friendship was the biggest heartbreak I’ve had so far because I put so much of my self worth on the line. I didn’t know who I was if I didn’t have a close friend to turn to, someone to tell me that I will be ok, and that terrified me. So while yes, I know my worth now. I had to walk through that to build it. As much as I agree with the message of this post, the conversation should be approached with a lot of sensitivity, I can only speak from my experience, I almost didn’t make it through that time to be writing this comment now.

If your friend is struggling her and if they don’t have anyone else you can’t leave them 😔😔 I went through this and it sucks
