Yellowstone Ranch 1969 :
2017 Jeep Wrangler. Faithfully changed the oil. Temperature always in the middle. Then, one day, boom! blown head gasket. Can somebody explain this?

My 6.0 gave me fits running hot, couldn’t find the leak (water) and no oil in water or water in oil. Changed water pump and thermostat but it didn’t do any good just knowing water pumps on Chevy motors are famous for leaking finally i tape paper all down both heads front to back on outside. There it was around #7 cylinder. It was coming out in steam so no residual was ever present

Busted, One can put a few drops of mystery oil, or any oil for that matter, and after the cooling system heats up, or show the same result
