My baby takes 15-20 minutes to finish a bottle (4oz at 1 month) but when I went up in size, she spills so much. it takes just as long because I have to constantly stop and wipe milk away.

I have babies at daycare and it takes 30+ minutes for them to finish their bottles and their parents refuse to up their nipple size 😭

Also true but I would be mindful dr browns nipples are different in this scenario as my 5 month old is still on a “P = Premie Nipple “ as any other flow would be toooo fast for her

Never went up in flow rate. Babies learn to suck more efficiently and get stronger as they get older. You increase the risk of choking by upping the flow rate.

Please don't spread misinformation, this is not true. Babies should take about 5-7 minutes per oz. It is very normal for young babies to fall asleep during a feeding. You can change their diaper, burb and tickle their feet mid feed to wake up. Fussy can have a multitude of reasons and it's not normally because of a slow flow.

I still have my two month old on premie nipples because she drinks to fast and sucks the bottle down so quick. I tried level 1 nipples but she started choking because the flow was two fast for her so back to premie nipples I went
