this looks awesome, do you have an idea why people keep saying gar is a bad fish? is it just because it's hard to prepare? or maybe to avoid too much popularity so that there's a smaller chance of getting poisoned by gar?

I once caught a busted fishing line and when i reeled it in, it had a gar attached to it. All I had was a fillet knife and I couldn't break through the armor so I just let it go. Now I know to bring a cleaver just in case.
