Some of the comments here are actually proving her point.
It’s not necessarily about whether someone had the opportunity to go to school. Knowledge exists all around us. Even if formal education wasn’t an option, you can still learn from your environment, the people around you, books, conversations, and the wealth of information available today.
At the same time, we’ve all seen people with impressive academic qualifications who still struggle with basic comprehension, critical thinking, situational awareness, or applying knowledge in real life. Education and wisdom aren’t always the same thing.
That said, I still believe formal education is incredibly important and, where possible, non-negotiable. But learning shouldn’t stop at the classroom, nor should it be limited by the absence of one.
