"Praise be to Allah, Who created and brought [all things] into existence, Who created water and the earth, and Who originated and scattered every creation. Not even the smallest of ants, as it creeps in the darkness of the night, is hidden from His sight; nor does the weight of an atom in the earth or in the heaven escape His knowledge. The Most Merciful rose over the Throne [in a manner befitting His Majesty]. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and whatever is between them and whatever is under the soil. And if you speak aloud, then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. Allah—there is no deity except Him; to Him belong the best names. He created Adam, then tested him, then chose him, turned to him in forgiveness, and guided him. He sent Noah, who built the Ark by the command of Allah, and it sailed. He saved the Intimate Friend [Abraham] from the fire, turning its heat into coolness and safety for him, so take heed from what transpired. He granted Moses nine clear signs, yet Pharaoh neither remembered nor desisted. He supported Jesus with signs that dazzled mankind, and He revealed the Book to Muhammad, containing clear proofs and guidance. I praise Him, Glorified and Exalted be He, for His blessings that continue to follow one after another, and I send peace and blessings upon the one sent to the Mother of Cities [Makkah]—may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, his family, his companions, and whoever followed their footsteps and was guided."
