Breastmilk bottles can sit out for a few hours and still be good I usually just wait until he’s hungry again

I save it in a bottle in the fridge labeled "bath only". I will use it for bath time bc NO WASTED MILK. I barely make enough as is 😭😭😭😭

Just a thing about a new study saying it’s fine to leave it out for a few hours and that even at 24 hours at room temp there was not significant bacterial growth

If she doesn’t take it within the hr, I put it back in the fridge and offer it again within 2 hrs. Studies show that there’s no significant bacterial growth, even at 24 h, which is why some doctors recommend refrigerating unfinished bottles!

Girl don’t worry! If you bottle feed baby multiple times a day and they leave any breast milk behind just combine it in one bottle. At the end of the night pour everything you’ve collected into their bathtub! 😊 It’s great for their skin! ❤️You can also give baby a breastmilk facial with a cotton ball or mix your breastmilk in aquaphor and moisturizer them a couple times a day with it. 🫶🏽

Start collecting the unfinished milk in storage bags and use for milk baths,creams for rashes,acne for yourself and baby!
